Nurse Practitioner at Life Scan Wellness Centers

As a Nurse Practitioner at Life Scan, I deliver preventive health screenings and wellness exams specifically for first responders in a supportive and non-hospital environment. This is a rewarding career that focuses on education and prevention. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will administer essential health screenings, provide follow-up guidance for results, and participate in a team dedicated to saving the lives of America's heroes.

Responsibilities

• Administer 9 non-diagnostic annual screenings per day, Monday through Friday, to public safety personnel
• Deliver screening results to patients with follow-up guidance
• Work closely with Ultrasound Sonographer and Exercise Physiologist to deliver ultrasound organ and cardiac/pulmonary findings to the patient and department heads when applicable

Requirements

• Certified as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
• At least 3 years experience as an RN or 3 years experience as APRN
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
