Responsibilities
- Provide support to site staff for the creation and management of annual expense / capex budgets.
- Provide monthly explanations for budget discrepancies. Create and implement strategies to
correct discrepancies while maintaining the facility, equipment, and furnishings.
Manage and mentor Facility staff through Sr. Facility personnel or as direct reports.Conduct 1 on 1 meeting(s) with direct reports.
Provide guidance and oversight to facility staff.Oversee training and development of facility staff.Conduct annual performance evaluations of facility staff.Maintain working relationship withQuality Assurance
IT LeadershipOperations ManagementOnsite clients and executivesRisk departmentInfrastructure and PM teamMaintain a seat on the Safety Committee.Development of facility operations and maintenance policies, procedures, and work instructionAssist in contractor performance review and provide recommendations to senior leadership.Provide weekly report to Sr. Vice President by facility.Develop short- and long-term facility plans that assure cost efficient facility operations and minimize / eliminate unplanned infrastructure and critical systems downtimManage security, alarm, and fire suppression / detection system contracts, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and codOther duties as assignQualifications and Job Specifications
Bachelor’s degree or 10-years equivalent experience in Facility ManagementStrong Organizational SkillsWorking knowledge of OSHA and NFPA standardDemonstrated knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution including on site generators, various refrigeration systems, and plumbing.Experience working in a cGMP environmAn elevated level of customer service acumAbility to communicate to all levels of staff and Clients in a clear and conscience mannMaintenance experience with proven technical critical thinking skills.Ability to communicate with staff and provide reports using Microsoft Office SuitIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills : Outlook, Excel, PowerPointAbility to maintain and track budget / spending trends.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience utilizing web-based telecommunication software.Experience in managing vendor relationships / partnerships.Technical Expertise
Must be able to demonstrate skills or hold licensing / certification in the following areas :Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration systems, Electrical
