As our Administrative Assistant , you'll be a key player in ensuring the financial operations of LIFE run smoothly. From processing payments to managing reconciliations and office supplies, your organizational skills and attention to detail will make an immediate impact.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our Finance team. This position plays a vital role in supporting LIFE's mission by performing accounting, billing, and administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant will ensure smooth financial operations through tasks like processing payments, reconciling accounts, and managing office supplies.
What You'll Do
- Play an Important Role in Finance : Manage daily mail, process payments, and balance transactions with precision.
- Support Vital Programs : Assist with billing and reconciliations for Adult Day Health and ADvantage Case Management programs.
- Keep Operations Running Smoothly : Handle account reconciliations, distribute financial reports, and manage office equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate and Contribute : Provide support for departmental projects and other duties that keep LIFE thriving.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements, occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead, squatting and kneeling. Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS : Requires a valid driver's license and car insurance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : The desk for this position is located in the Lobby. This allows the administrative assistant to be in a central location in order to assist various departments. Incoming deliveries will be brought to this desk. The main work environment is an office setting of a non-profit organization providing a variety of services to seniors and their families. Salary Description
19-$23 / hr.
