Job Description:
Life-Skills and Individual Needs Center (LINC) provides services for adults with intellectual disabilities. We are currently looking for an energetic, self-starter who works well both independently and one-on-one with individuals. We are looking for someone available Mondays, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm with flexible afternoon, nights and weekends shifts. You make your own afternoon, evening and weekend schedule. Duties include, but not limited to, working with individuals in our day program, assisting individuals in their home, providing access to their community and participating in fun activities. Assisting with purchasing groceries, meal preparation, cleaning, maintaining their home and taking them to appointments. Providing support to individuals to have self-determined and independent lives as possible.
Requirements:
. Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have a valid Driver’s License
· Able to pass Background Clearance
· Some computer skills
· Capable of lifting 30 lbs.
· Willing to be certified in CPR and other training needed for job.
· Approx. Hours: Monday 8:00-2:00, afternoons, evenings, weekends - flexible
