We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Activities Director to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that caters to the diverse interests of residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities are well-coordinated and meet the needs of all participants.
- Assist residents in participating in activities, providing support and encouragement as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Organize special events.
- Monitor resident participation and gather feedback to continuously improve the activities program.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and outcomes for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving
- Knowledge of aging issues counseling and dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Background in recreational therapy
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion while assisting residents in their daily activities.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on resident needs and preferences.

Pay: $15.44 - $16.12 per hour
