What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) position at Life Stages Inc?
Must be registered with the board and eligible to be connected with an agency.
We are looking for a LMHP OR LMHP-E contract with our agency. This person must be client focused and willing to provide assessments in the clients home.
Duties include:
- Provides written diagnostic assessment within twenty-four (24) hours to be reviewed by Clinical Director.
- Completes all client forms during assessments
- Complete preliminary treatment plan
- Submit to Magellan for approval
- Complete initial and comprehensive assessment.
- Participates in team meetings as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited college or university; at least 2 years of experience working with adults with mental health diagnosis. Must be able to provide documentation allowing for the provision of supervision to those who are licensed-eligible by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of youth and family counseling; working knowledge of human services system; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
