Life Strategies, LLC is a BCBA owned and operated ABA agency seeking energetic and dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our amazing team!

ABA Paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) work in our Blooming Potential Autism and Learning Centers and/or in the child's home to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for individuals with autism. Programs are designed by our highly skilled team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

ABA sessions are provided between the hours of 8:15am-4:45pm Monday through Friday. Full availability within our ABA service hours is preferred across at least a few days a week. Part-Time Paraprofessional positions available in Porter, Lake & St. Joseph Counties. On the job training is provided with this entry-level Paraprofessional position. Seasonal positions not available. Candidates must pass the following:

• Paraprofessionals must pass pre-employment background checks
• Paraprofessionals must pass pre-employment drug screen

Paraprofessionals with Life Strategies are responsible for:

• Implement learning and ABA programs as written and instructed by the BCBA
• Document goal and program information throughout the day
• Attend required trainings and meetings to enhance clinical skills and aide in growth and development
• Working directly with kids to help them achieve their goals
• Being a part of a TEAM! Collaborating with co-workers, BCBAs and other divisions with the shared goal of providing the best services to our clients.

What we are looking for in a Paraprofessional:

• High-energy and interaction with coworkers and clients
• Passion for working with children
• Interest in helping children and adolescents with special needs, including Autism
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to actively play with children; twist, bend, and jump
• Ability to lift and carry 25lbs.
• Full range of motion of legs, shoulders, arms, hands and fingers.
• Interested in and/or pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Special Education or related field (not required, but strongly preferred)

$16.00-$18.00 competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience and geographic region.
