Duties

- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavior management and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate data collection and documentation of client progress in accordance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, utilizing medical terminology as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in substance abuse treatment.
Experience
- Proven experience in addiction counseling, clinical counseling, or mental health counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with case management practices and behavior management techniques is essential.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes and data collection methods related to substance abuse treatment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
