Responsibilities
- Develop and manage credit philosophies, processes, and portfolios.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop ongoing partnerships related to credit needs.
- Assist in growing capital sources and reducing costs related to credit requirements.
- Monitor and improve financial reporting related to the use of capital.
- Ensure data integrity in credit portfolios and reports.
- Assist with the modeling of new credit partners and evaluate potential risks.
- Apply and enforce necessary controls related to credit.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Generate detailed reports on credit risk, outstanding debts, and collection efforts.
- Foster a team-oriented culture and assist with the development of team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit management, financial analysis, or risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of credit laws, financial regulations, and best practices for debt collection.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and credit management tools.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and collaboration.
