This role will manage many aspects of the LIFE SURGE event including but not limited to: researching venues and locations, project planning, event logistics, and vendor management. This role requires a strong self-starter who can take a minimal amount of direction and run with it.

Opportunity
The Event Logistics Coordinator will provide support to the Events Department with a “can do” attitude. This role will manage many aspects of the LIFE SURGE event including but not limited to: researching venues and locations, project planning, event logistics, and vendor management. This role requires a strong self-starter who can take a minimal amount of direction and run with it.
Responsibilities
- Research venues for events, reaching out to potential sites and gathering data to make informed decisions.
- Develops, prioritizes, and implements tactical event delivery plans as envisioned by the Event team.
- Ensures highest quality event deliverable as it relates to onsite events.
- Pre-event, day-of, and post-event logistics coordination.
- Responsible for many elements of event preparations including, but not limited to, venue research & coordination, logistics, F&B coordination, communications, and coordinating onsite details with vendors.
- Available to be on-site for events at least once per month (Thurs – Sun)
- Maintains inventory of event equipment and supplies (travel boxes, signage, banners, etc.)
- Verifies receipt of all materials that must arrive for the event.
- Works closely with key contacts and vendors, forging lasting relationships that foster future business.
- Work with our Road Crew team pre-event and onsite to onboard and train new team members
- Vendor negotiation
- Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, text and mail.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- At least one to three years of related experience required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds at times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SP, Asana, and/or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
