About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cafe Supervisor to lead daily shift operations, promote exceptional customer service, and foster a positive atmosphere for our members. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to adapt to changing circumstances, and drive results through effective teamwork.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring high-quality food and efficient service.
- Serve as the daily shift leader, providing top-tier support to customers and team members alike.
- Monitor team members' food preparation and customer service skills, promoting accurate menu item preparation and professional service.
- Makes recommendations for employee promotions and disciplinary actions to the Manager.
- Assists with food preparation tasks.
- Responds promptly and professionally to member inquiries, comments, and concerns.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification in CPR/AED must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ServeSafe certification is also necessary within 60 days of hire.
- This role involves frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects over 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position with regular movement around the Cafe.
- Night and weekend availability are required based on business needs.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in food service or retail, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly position with starting wages at $15.50, increasing up to $18.50 based on experience and qualifications.
