Position Summary
A Business Analyst at Life Time acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed.
The Business Analyst needs to collaborate with business owners, UX, creative and developers throughout the definition phase, documenting functional and non-functional requirements for bringing these experiences to life while ensuring scalable and consistent solutions across businesses.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with product owners to understand product scope and vision.
- Responsible for partnering with business to elicit, analyze and document business requirements. Responsible for creating detailed user stories/tasks for technical team, with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborates with UX and product owner to help create wireframes, process flows to reflect intended user experience
- Collaborates with business partners in identifying opportunities to streamline their operations with technology. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes
- Facilitate and support product backlog. Work with the product owners and product team to make sure the product backlog is detailed, estimated and prioritized
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience as a business analyst, system analyst or quality analyst
- 2 years of training or experience in creating use cases, business modeling and business requirements
- 2 years of demonstrated experience in driving projects independently
- Strong analytical skills applied to understanding business functionality and translating them into application requirements
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams as well as independently
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00 and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
