Position Summary
Life Time’s Partnership Marketing division is seeking an organized, passionate, and dynamic professional to join the team as a National Account Manager for Event Sponsorship Activation. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering exceptional experiences to sponsors and athletes, with a primary focus on the Leadville Race Series and Life Time’s other premier running and cycling athletic events. The ideal candidate has sponsorship account management experience, in the sports, fitness and/or outdoor space, along with an interest in the Leadville Race Series and the local community.
As a National Account Manager, you’ll manage the fulfillment of sponsorship contracts, deliverables and activations, from start to finish, ensuring flawless execution while exceeding client expectations. You’ll be the key point of contact for sponsor relationships, offering innovative and tailored solutions to achieve brand goals. Working closely with sales consultants, you’ll create unique and impactful content and activation strategies that not only “WOW” clients but also enhance the athlete experience.
This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. A deep understanding of live event operations and a willingness to be hands-on during event weekends are essential. Candidates must commit to working on-site for all events in Leadville, CO, each summer, and will also be expected to travel to some additional events within Life Time’s portfolio.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as main point of contact with key clients to execute all sponsorship benefits as defined in sponsorship contracts
- Responsible for collaborating with sales consultants on prospective clients and providing approval on all contracts
- Works cross functionally within Life Time events division to deliver timely execution of sponsorship benefits
- Project manages client lists, entitlement fulfillment tools, product in-kind, signage documents and budgets
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Experience in live events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master at client service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional time management and project management skills
- Extremely organized and superior attention to detail
- Travel to events, including early mornings, late nights and weekend availability required (primarily between the months of June - October)
