What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Sciences Office Assistant - Work Study position at Life University?
PURPOSE
To assist in the operations of the Chiropractic Sciences Department by performing various office tasks.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential employee and office information.
- Collaborate with Supervisor to solidify and follow work schedule.
- Assist with set up or take down of models in classrooms.
- Open and prep / distribute mail.
- Assist in reorganizing old office spaces.
- Assist with hallway monitoring during MT's and Finals.
- Check technique rooms for face paper and restock as needed.
- Assist in maintaining organization of office supplies and materials in all buildings (CCE, CGUS, Harris, and MOD 7A / B). May be asked to retrieve and / or count and keep track of inventory.
- Assist with errands such as pick-up or delivery of supplies and or office supplies.
- Answer the telephone and take messages.
- Take maintenance requests from faculty members and place work orders.
- Serve in the front lobby as a concierge to greet and host walk-ins, field calls, and more.
- Report hours worked in ADP each week, on time.
- Submit payroll or hours worked via ADP and track work study award funding.
- Provide supervisor with a Work Study Referral form each quarter.
