Position Overview: The Coaching Coordinator will be instrumental in building LIFEBLOOD Foundation's innovative coaching platform from the ground up, creating a scalable system that will help thousands of individuals manage their chronic conditions with greater confidence and improved outcomes. Your work will directly impact the quality of life for people navigating chronic kidney disease while establishing a framework that can be expanded to support those with other chronic conditions in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for LIFEBLOOD's coaching platform to support individuals with chronic kidney disease and other chronic conditions
- Recruit, screen, and onboard a diverse team of health and wellness industry experts including health coaches, dieticians, registered nurses, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, dialysis nurses, and care coordinators
- Establish coaching protocols, content standards, and quality assurance processes for all educational materials and sessions
- Lead the development of a structured curriculum covering various aspects of chronic disease management, nutrition, medication adherence, mental health support, and lifestyle modifications
- Oversee the creation of personalized coaching pathways that can be tailored to learners' specific health conditions, stages, and needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex medical information into accessible, actionable content for patients
- Manage the technical production of online coaching sessions, including coordination with studio team for high-quality video and audio recordings
- Develop assessment tools to measure program effectiveness and participant outcomes
- Create training materials and conduct onboarding for new coaches and content creators
- Ensure all coaching content meets medical accuracy standards while remaining engaging and motivational
- Establish metrics for success and regularly evaluate program performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in healthcare, education, public health, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare leadership, patient education, or coaching program development
- At least 2 years of experience managing teams of healthcare professionals or educational content creators
- Demonstrated experience building educational programs, preferably in chronic disease management
- Knowledge of chronic kidney disease and its associated challenges highly desirable, but not required
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning principles
- Proficiency with learning management systems and digital content creation tools
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Outstanding communication skills for working with diverse healthcare professionals and translating complex medical concepts
- Background in patient advocacy or healthcare education strongly preferred
- Certification in health coaching, patient education, or related field a plus
- Experience working with underserved populations and understanding of health equity principles
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for empowering patients through education and self-management strategies
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Littleton, Colorado near C-470/Broadway. Benefits include flexible schedule, vacation, casual dress, and available health, dental and vision insurance plans.
