LifeBridge Community Service's Sign Language Interpreting Services has been providing professional on-site interpreting for over 30 years. Our staff provides personalized and efficient customer service to meet the needs of our clients. We work to accommodate the best mode of communication which best fits the deaf consumer.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for ensuring that customers in need of interpreting services are greeted appropriately via telephone and email communication and responded to in a timely manner., The CSR must ensure that the customer’s experience is positive, meets their needs and all fee agreement paperwork required is complete, data entry is accurate and entered in the interpreting scheduling database; eRSP.
The CSR will ensure that, in coordination with the sign language interpreters, all interpreting appointments are confirmed and up to date in the electronic interpreting scheduling database and provides assistance to the department’s scheduling specialist. .
Major Responsibilities:
- Answers and manages phone calls received by the department’s main phone number.
- Coordinates daily appointment confirmation and scheduling changes.
- Performs Data Entry into the department’s scheduling database
- Updates interpreter(s) of any changes or cancelations with their assignments.
- Creates, monitors and maintains all Fee Agreements.
- Provides support for Interpreter scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Experience working in healthcare, preferably at the front desk or customer service.
- Must have strong communications skills along with the interpersonal skills to work effectively at all levels of the organization and its stakeholders.
- Must be computer literate.
