Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Education Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and evaluate education programs based on adult learning principles. You will work collaboratively with nursing leadership and clinical nurses to support nursing professional development and competency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify education needs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs
- Maintain current knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in nursing education
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- National Certification (Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development, or ASTD) required
- Previous education/teaching experience a plus
