Summary
CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN MD, DC, PA,VA OR WVA JOB SUMMARY:- Under the direction of management, the supervisor will monitor the daily operations of PDI's professional coders and quality analysts to ensure the completion of coding abstraction, and resolutions of coding denials for accuracy and timeliness. Monitors productivity and performs quality reviews of both coders and quality analysts. Reports and identtifies areas of opportunities for improvement and education through trends in claims manager edits and coding denials to improve clean claim submissions and reduce denials. Advises management of any development of staff. Serves as a coding resource for the coding department and a liaison to the LifeBridge Health system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- CCS-P or CPC required
- 5 to 7 years supervisory experience
- Must have professional coding experience
