Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Intake Coordinator is responsible for processing patient referrals to determine establishing care, obtaining/reviewing financial and medical documentation needed for care, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, and communicating with patient/family regarding coverage and payment responsibilities.
  • Performs daily intake tasks and achieves KPI’s according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensures referrals are processed timely and according to standard operating procedure (SOP).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
  • 1-3 years experience
  • On site position with potential for hybrid remote
