Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Intake Coordinator is responsible for processing patient referrals to determine establishing care, obtaining/reviewing financial and medical documentation needed for care, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, and communicating with patient/family regarding coverage and payment responsibilities.
- Performs daily intake tasks and achieves KPI’s according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensures referrals are processed timely and according to standard operating procedure (SOP).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
- 1-3 years experience
- On site position with potential for hybrid remote
