LPN-LTC Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the LPN is responsible for developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify residents' physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to address residents' needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Maryland.
- AHA BLS CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
- Specialty bed operation knowledge.
