MEDICAL ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY
RUBIN INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED ORTHOPEDICS
FULL TIME - 8:00am-4:30pm
MONDAY - FRIDAY
*** AHA BLS Certified, Graduate of accredited MA Program required ***
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a physician, applies, adjusts and removes casts, splints, etc. Assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment. Applies various orthopedic equipment, removes sutures and staples, and positions various orthopedic patients for procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. 1-3 years of experience. Must have a valid Driver's license. American Heart Association CPR Certification. If inexperienced with casting techniques, will be trained accordingly and expected to be proficient by the end of the 90-day probationary period. Travel to offsite locations may be required to meet staffing needs. Travel will be coordinated in advance to the extent it is possible.
