LifeBridge Health is seeking a seasoned nursing professional to fill the role of Nurse Educator. This position will provide support to the Emergency Department and the Education Resource Center, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs based on adult learning principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical nurses to support nursing professional development and competency
- Elevate nursing practice in service line and hospital-wide initiatives through expertise and guidance
- Develop and implement education programs tailored to adult learning principles
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field; knowledge in more than one discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree required or enrollment in a Master's program within 2 years of hire
- National Certification required (Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development or ASTD)
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
