What are the responsibilities and job description for the ORTHOTIC FITTER position at LifeBridge Health?
Summary
- Ensure medical braces, prosthetic limbs, arch supports and other medical devices fit properly
- Monitor patients over time and make changes to devices as needed
- Obtain patient demographic, clinical information, verify patient insurance and collect deductibles and co pay, as applicable
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced degree of manual dexterity and ability to closely follow detailed instructions.
- Must be certified Orthotic Fitter.
- Minimum one year of experience
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and electronic
- Must be able to operate complex machinery
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with DME industry
- Ability to retain professional certification
- Ability to use computers, mobile devices, applications and software, including Microsoft Office 365 and the company's EMR.
- Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm
- Must have valid MD Driver's license
- Woks in the field at LifeBridge Health facilities (Northwest and Carroll Hospitals, Foundry Row in Owings Mills)
This position has a hiring range of $63 to $70K, based on experience.
