JOB SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical , multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse. The PCT provides care for the adolescent, adult, or geriatric patient.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education - High school diploma/GED preferred
- Successful completion of Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course required.
- Previous experience workins as a CNA/GNA/Patient Care Tech in a Hospital setting is strongly preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant License required
- BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required
- Must be trained, and be competent to work in multiple units within the hospital
