JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all revenue cycle functions performed in the faculty practice through collaboration and communication with physicians, staff, and billing services to ensure efficient and effective operations. Manages the staff and operations of the faculty practice, evaluating operational needs and providing recommendations to continually improve performance against budget and standards.
- Responsible for all aspects of human resource and personnel administration of assigned non-physician staff.
- Responsible for all aspects of practice revenue cycle management in accordance with establoished PPO policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the day to day and ongoing administrative and operational management of the physcian practice to insure the highest degree of operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures that all customers receive exemplary service. Serves as a patient/customer advocate when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years of experience preferred.
