At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Westminster, MD.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced RRT who can perform routine and specialized respiratory therapy procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be certified in CPR, NRP, RRT, RCP, ACLS, and PALS. They will also hold a valid RCP State license from the Maryland Board of Physicians and be NBRC-RRT certified.
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine and specialized respiratory therapy procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol
- Overseeing the activities of Respiratory Care Technicians and Respiratory Care Student/Trainees when assigned that responsibility
Requirements:
- Required: Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy
- Preferred: High School Diploma and Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 2-4 years Required
- Certifications: CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider, NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation, RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist, RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner, ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Additional Requirements:
- Hold a valid RCP State license from the Maryland Board of Physicians
- Be NBRC-RRT certified
