JOB SUMMARY:
Provides first line assistant supervisory capabilities within the Security/Courier Services Department to meet and achieve organizational goals and departmental objectives. In the absence of the Shift Captain, serves as the supervisor of the shift.
- Submits accurate written reports and documents findings of investigations.
- Greets and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees at entrances and exits.
- Provides effective leadership and guidance for Security Department personnel
REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 3 years of experience preferred.
- IAHSS Supervisor Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months or hire.
- Maryland State Security Officer Certification is preferred or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
