Job Description
Paramedics are highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who provide advanced medical care before transferring patients to emergency rooms.
Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics assess the patient's condition, determining any pre-existing medical conditions. They transport patients to a medical facility while providing emergency care, adhering to set protocols and guidelines.
In transit, they monitor vital signs and administer additional care when necessary. Upon arrival, paramedics assist in transferring patients to the emergency department and report details to attending physicians.
After each run, paramedics document the trip, restock supplies, and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
