Essential Functions:
Observes, records and reports to supervising
therapist(s) the conditions, reactions, and responses of
patients/residents/clients assigned to his/her dutiesResponsible for patient/resident/client’s
personal care and environment throughout the treatmentFollows established procedures and observes
safety precautions in the use of modalities and procedures.Carries out positioning and reconditioning
exercises.Trains patients/residents/clients in specific
exercises, ambulation and activities of daily livingAssists in measuring, fitting and training of
prosthesis, orthosis, wheelchairs, ambulation devices and other assistive
devices.Minimum Qualification Standards:
Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant
Education Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a
comparable accrediting agency.
Licensure in the
State of Minnesota.
