Job Details:
Location: Roseau Campus
Shift: varying
Job Schedule: days & nights
Hours: 8 hour shifts and/or 12 hours shifts
FTE:.75
Weekends: alternating
Holidays: rotation and self-schedule
*Pay Range: $37.06-$55.59
*It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
What you'll get to do in this role:
Care patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric with time-sensitive illness and/or injury. Our general floor unit.
Main focus will be labor and birth, neontal care, and postpartum
Provide rapid intervention to prevent death or disability
Facilitate optimal health restoration to patients
Educate patients and their families about medications and treatment.
Assist physicians during examinations and/or procedures
Records patient medical information in EMR
Administer different types of medication
Use specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors and ventilators
Chart Review per managers request
You're an excellent fit, if you have:
associates degree from accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
valid current MN RN license or ability to obtain
BLS certification
ACLS certification preferred
strong communicaiton skills
excellent critical thinking skills
excellent interpersonal skills
good problem solving and prioritizing skills
Labor and Birth experience to work independently
