Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls to appropriate personnel.
Training will be provided to qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
- Utilize GIS and GPS systems to determine the most efficient routes for emergency response
- Analyze situations quickly and provide necessary information to responders
- Communicate effectively with field units, supervisors, and other dispatch centers
- Negotiate and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during emergency situations
- Conduct phone triage to assess the severity of incidents and prioritize responses
- Provide clear and concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of calls, dispatches, and responses
Qualifications
- Proficient in using dispatch software and communication systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week

Experience:
- Phone triage: 1 year (Preferred)
- Phone etiquette: 1 year (Preferred)
