About the Job
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a critical role in inventory management. This role will be responsible for:
· Ensuring materials and supplies are available and ready to use for Production and Laboratory functions
· Managing inventory levels to optimize the use of resources
· Developing proficiency in Inventory Management software
· Improving process flow and inventory accuracy
· Anticipating and minimizing shortages and impact to Production
· Effective communication to key stakeholders and management
Primary functions of this role include:
· Inventory Management – maintaining accurate inventory of raw materials and consumables, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and conducting cycle counts.
· Raw Material Receiving and Control – conducts accurate and timely receiving and maintains proper documentation, ensures proper material usage reconciliation, and maintains a tidy and organized receiving area.
· Material Issuance – Verifies and issues materials for production use and reconciles and returns goods and products to the appropriate warehouse location; ensures accuracy and control of lot issuance and FIFO methodologies.
· Purchasing – purchasing of raw materials, components, and equipment as needed or directed by Management with proper approval, creation of purchase orders, timely tracking of purchase orders and consistent communication with vendors and suppliers.
Other functions may include:
· Assisting the shipping and logistics team, assisting the warehouse team, and assisting the production team on as needed basis.
· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and two years’ related work experience in supply chain. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management a plus. High School diploma and five years’ experience in supply chain may be considered.
· APICS Supply chain certification or equivalent
· Moderate to advanced computer skills
· Effective communication and organization
Salary range $60,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience.
