A central Texas premier aquatics group is looking for refined, charismatic Shift Managers for their family centered entertainment venture. A unique kids indoor aquatic experience needs energetic, detail-oriented people to join our team in Cedar Park TX! We need a supervisor and leader who will build strong teamwork in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
The Shift Managers motivate, instill accountability and achieve results to drive success at the location while maintaining our Culture of Safe Family Entertainment! Provides overall leadership, supervision and direction on strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results. Our management candidates will be trained in every nuance of the business.
PAY: Starting at $16/hr PLUS Tip Share. (includes flexible scheduling & employee discount)
Job Description:
- Guiding and assigning employees around the store to maintain a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Verify that water quality is tested on an hourly basis to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
- Maintain a clean facility; find areas that need improvement and delegate cleaning responsibilities effectively.
- Recruit, orient, train, coach, counsel and discipline employees.
- Communicate job expectations clearly; developing employees, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
- Book and Confirm birthday parties; confirm all rules clearly and set party parent expectations for every party parent from the start of the booking process through the end of the party at check out time.
- Upsell Products and Services according to customers wants/needs
- Go above and beyond what you are asked to keep our customers happy.
- Assist in maintaining a positive company morale.
- Maintain composure when dealing with “difficult” situations, employees, customers, etc.
- Prepare for parties throughout the week.
- Contact schools, sport teams, organizations to develop relationships and build business.
- Develop relationships with customers and ask them for ways we can improve throughout the day.
- Right hand to the GM & help relay/enforce communications from corporate to the daily operations.
Qualifications:
- 1 year minimum Management Experience Required***
- Ability to spot a problem before it arises and jump in to prevent it.
- Must enjoy working around children and be able to talk to customers and create positive interactions.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends!
