We are currently searching for a passionate and professional House Manager who will oversee one of our Intermediate Care Facilities in Marin County.
The ICF House Manager will primarily be responsible for supervising department staff to ensure client needs are being met. The role includes working 20 hours on administration tasks and 20 hours of direct care.
What you will be doing:
- Promoting independence in all areas of resident self-help skills development as well as tasks of daily living.
- Interview, hire, train and schedule program staffs according to regulations and resident needs ensuring that all shifts are full.
- Overseeing and providing approval of employees’ timecards and approving and monitoring overtime.
- Assisting with licensing survey preparations, and take part in Department of Public Health licensing surveys.
- Keeping parents, conservators, and day programs informed of any status changes with our clients / residents.
- Taking ownership of resident safety and health which includes the passing of medication and other health monitoring responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Nurse (RN).

What you will bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in the I/DD field, or combination of education and other experience that would equate to the same skillset.
- Strong management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse organization, maintaining a positive work environment and leading change through teamwork
- The ability to plan and deliver clear oral and written communications that are impactful and persuasive
- Adequate skills with technology, e.g. computers and smartphones
- Physical and TB Test to be completed upon acceptance of employment and annually thereafter.
- CA driver's license, clean driving record, and a car in good working order.
- Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprinting at the DOJ level.
