- The training manager will attend staff meetings at the different locations to introduce themselves to the teams.
- Develop a skills assessment survey to determine the needs at each shelter and clinic.
- Skills development will coincide with the workday. As new skills present themselves, they will need to be documented as completed.

- On-the-job Instruction
- Post-Assessment
- Maintain training records on each of the medical employees to ensure they receive their 40 hours per year of training.
- Radiograph training through a state program. New employees and current employees.
- Develop a training program that will be uniform throughout LifeLine.
- Works with Veterinary students that do externships and the Medical Director to ensure they have a good learning experience.
- Osha training for each location. This can be done through Covetrus.
Additional Duties :
Performs other duties as directed, including but not limited to helping in the clinic if they are shorthanded.
Requirements:
- LVT License preferred
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients/fosters and treat animals with respect and compassion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
- Two or more years’ recent experience in a veterinary facility.
- Two or more years’ recent experience leading or supervising a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
