Required Certifications: BLS, ONS/ONCC
13 weeks role
Shift Notes: Looking for 3 days/week, does not have the need consistently for 40/hours week Monday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Friday, 10 hour shifts No nights/weekends, 30 hours total
Charting System: Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
Experience:
Outpatient Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/Infusion experience
Hanging medication
Only working the infusion room
3 – 5 years of experience
Skilled with IV starts, and central line management
Intraventricular chemotherapy, putting chemo into patients bladders. If candidate does not have this experience, then they will not need to treat these patients.
Position Details:
Morning huddle, patients being treated reviewed with whole care team
Patients are registered up front and bought back by MA and seated in chair
Nurses have already prepped their day, greet patients, draw labs that are necessary
Collaborate/communicate with Physician
Administer meds per order
Nursing assessment, nursing education, care coordination
Appointment scheduling
Authorizations team
Stock supplies, chart prep
5 – 8 patients/day
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $70.00 - $71.00 per hour
