LPN Long Term Care

The LPN provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform the following according to location standards, procedures and individualized resident care plans.

Contract Duration - 13 Weeks

Shift - 6pm to 6:30am, EOW, EOH

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

BLS Required

2 Years Long-term-care experience required

Active BLS (AHA) is required.

Active LPN License in ND/Compact License required

Summary

As an LPN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care and ensuring the implementation of care plans within a healthcare setting. Reporting to the nursing supervisor, your core skills in patient assessment, catheterization, and basic life support will be essential in delivering high-quality care. Your premium experience in critical care and long-term care will enhance our team's ability to support diverse patient needs. Additionally, your knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA compliance will ensure that patient information is managed effectively and confidentially. Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate health status.
• Provide catheterization and tube feeding support while maintaining patient comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Deliver basic life support as needed and assist in triage situations.
