We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Assist with pain management strategies to ensure patient comfort.
- Conduct assessments and monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Perform catheter care and assist with sterile processing of medical equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support patients undergoing dialysis treatment as needed.
- Provide hospice care for patients requiring end-of-life support.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles.
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings or internal medicine is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
