Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing care and support as needed.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly; report any malfunctions promptly.
- Keep accurate records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to MRI procedures.
- Experience with diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Details
- 5 years experience in a hospital setting as a MRI technologist - REQUIRED
- Siemens MAGNETOM Sola Expert Experience - REQUIRED
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - REQUIRED
- Venipuncture Certification - must be willing to obtain - REQUIRED
- Toshiba and Cerner experience - Preferred
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
- 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Day shift
- 4x10s/Days/Tuesday-Friday
- Pay details- $3400/weekly Gross (Traveler)
