Certified Pharmacy Technician (Hospital Setting) – St. Ignace, MI
Location: St. Ignace, MI
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: Days (M-F 10:30 AM – 7 PM, some weekend hours as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications for patients and verify prescription accuracy
- Price, fill, and process prescriptions
- Obtain pharmacist approval before dispensing medications
- Assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and complete necessary paperwork
- Stock, organize, and price medications in inventory
- Ensure the availability of medications by delivering them to patients or facilities
- Follow infection-control procedures, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe pharmacy environment
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
- Epic Software Experience
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- BLS Certification
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,237.00 - $1,654.00 per week
