Cardiac Cath Lab RN – Prep/Recovery
Location: Yuma, AZ 85364
Shift: 12-hour shifts (Start at 6:00 AM, 6:15 AM, or 8:00 AM)
Job Type: Full-Time (36 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before and after procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system
- Respond to emergencies and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of Cath Lab Prep and Recovery experience required
- Active RN license
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from either AHA or APEX
- Proficiency in the EPIC charting system required
- Must be located within 100 miles of the facility
