Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. Duties
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency department, prioritizing care based on severity of conditions.
- Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories to inform treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct specimen collection processing and manage medical records accurately.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary to assist in diagnosis.
- Participate in critical care transport as needed for patient transfers.
- Ensure adherence to sterile processing protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and post-discharge care.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in emergency medicine or critical care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of internal medicine principles.
- Experience with medical records management and compliance standards.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
