Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Afternoon Shift
Location: Exeter, NH
Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Weekend & On-Call: Possible, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Maintain compliance with sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of instruments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide properly sterilized instruments on time.
- Accurately document sterilization processes and inventory records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing.
Travel Experience: At least 6 months of prior travel experience required.
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- HSPA (IAHCSMM) – Required
Transportation: Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $33.07 - $37.18 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
