Medical-Surgical Nurse
At Lifeline Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. In this role, you will be working closely with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Evaluating medical information and providing direct bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications, as well as maintaining accurate medical records.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any adverse reactions or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborating on discharge planning and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care.
Requirements:
- State-approved nursing licensure
- Competency in electronic patient management systems such as e-MDs Chart and Mediexcel
- Extensive experience in monitoring a broad range of medical conditions
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in medical-surgical nursing
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
