Essential Functions :
- Providing group psychoeducational/life skills therapy.
- Collaborating with staff to coordinate therapeutic services.
- Coordinating activities to achieve treatment plan goals and objectives.
- Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely clinical records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Preparing and maintaining all required treatment records and reports.
- Collecting client information through interviews, observations, and tests.
- Obtaining prior authorizations to prevent lapses in insurance coverage.
- Ensuring daily completion of the TCM compliance log.
- Acting as a patient advocate to coordinate services and resolve crisis situations.
- Continuously assessing and evaluating referral resources for appropriateness.
- Arranging referrals to other professionals, agencies, and the community to address unmet needs.
- Following up on referral outcomes and exchanging relevant information with referral agencies. * Assisting clients in developing information support systems.
- Completing weekly supervision and maintaining documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or human services
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, supportive, and therapeutic relationships with adults dealing with life controlling addictions.
- Accurately gather, evaluate, organize, and document information about client treatment and service delivery.
- Familiar with cultural diversity and able to apply cultural awareness to professional relationships.
- Capable and willing to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and meticulous.
- Personal integrity when working with sensitive financial information.
- Take initiative, organize, and handle work in a stressful environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
