This position combines strategic content design, creative thinking, and hands-on visual execution to bring complex ideas to life for stunning visual storytelling graphic design, video production, and other creative asset development for campaigns, events, and educational initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand and goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality visual content and assets including videos, digital graphics, print materials, and other multimedia assets for public and professional education, campaigns, events, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create materials that align with strategic initiatives and organizational brand identity.
- Create video production projects, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and delivering final assets.
- Work with external agencies or freelancers, as needed, to supplement in-house creative production.
- Present creative concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final deliverables.
- Develop templates and tools to streamline creative processes and maintain consistency across all materials.
- Ensure all creative assets meet accessibility standards and are optimized for appropriate digital and print platforms.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative strategy development for campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain an organized archive of creative assets and ensure timely updates to materials as needed.
- Stay updated on latest trends in content and graphic design, video production, and multimedia storytelling to incorporate fresh, innovative approaches into the organization’s creative efforts.
- Explore new tools and techniques to enhance creative production processes.
- Share insights and best practices with the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Support departmental and organizational projects, participating in team initiatives and other duties as assigned to enhance the organization’s brand and mission.
- Bachelor’s degree in digital communication, multimedia journalism, graphic design, marketing, public relations, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design, video production, digital, and other creative content development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent tools, as well as Canva.
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Clear understanding of print material production process, including terminology and file delivery settings.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple creative projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds on occasion, using appropriate equipment.
