Position Summary :
The Children's Services Coordinator (CSC) is responsible for providing a safe and supportive educational environment for children within a homeless family program. CSCs are tasked with managing and evaluating the ACES (Achieving Career and Educational Success) Program (A program developed to complement formal education and rebuild confidence in our learners.) along with providing appropriate services / referrals for children and their families. Children's Services Coordinators also assist in the daily operation of a family site.
Position Duties :
Intake and Assessment
- Conduct interviews to assess individual needs of the family to identify special needs and areas of concern
- Work closely with other staff to develop an intervention plan to subsequently link children and families to other community agencies, schools, or programs as needed
