The Associate Product Manager plays a critical role in supporting the development, marketing, and lifecycle management of medical devices including, but not limited to, product development support, Sales team collaboration, market research and analysis, product lifecycle management, regulatory and quality support, and financial and strategic oversight. Candidates with a background in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or a clinical field are encouraged to apply. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $75,841 annually (entry-level qualifications) to $101,121 annually (experienced in this role).

What You’ll Do
- Provides ongoing support and collaborates with representatives of LifeNet Health, key opinion leaders, and Alliance partners regarding product material development, issues of product performance, and product quality improvement. Provide support to end users, field representatives, and client services staff by providing presentations focused on increasing product knowledge and clinical application/operational training.
- Implements tactical, strategic and annual marketing plans to include short term, mid-term, and long-term goals and objectives for the respective product. This includes situational analysis of the market and products, revenue forecasts, competitive analysis, and identification of key opportunities and threats. Evaluate the product-marketing plan and make recommendations to ensure compatibility with LifeNet Health’s mission.
- Develops and implements key marketing collateral materials, clinical education programs, and other marketing activities using PowerPoint and other multi-media tools to help support the branding of the product line with our customer and partners. This may involve collaboration with external resources including alliance partners and/or medical professionals.
- Works closely with R&D teams to support new product development and launch efforts; this includes validating new product design, functionality and clinical applications with customers as well as implementing marketing and sales plans. Provide support and corrective action plans to maintain corporate objectives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the resolution of challenges and roadblocks.
- Implements pricing and product offering strategies based on customer needs and processing feasibility.
- Develops and maintains relationships with “key opinion leaders” in the surgical community relative to the product to aid in new product development and positioning of current product lines.
- Attends activities associated with the coordination of tradeshow and professional society meetings pertaining to the respective product. May require hands-on activity within an operating room setting.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid state driver’s license
- Two (2) years of work experience within the medical field and/or marketing
- Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/ university: Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
- AATB Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (AATB CTBS)
- One (1) year of medical sales or marketing experience
- Knowledge of operating room procedures
- Ability to influence without authority
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
