How You Will Contribute To LifeNet Health’s Success
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you would be processing all surgical equipment needed for production processing in accordance with defined standard operating procedures and governing standards in compliance with LifeNet Health’s Quality Systems, Corporate Compliance programs and department safety policies and procedures.
Important: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.
This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

What You’ll Do
- Accurately inspects, prepares and packages all instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.
- Decontaminates all instrumentation and equipment effectively ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Stocks case carts to ensure all items are accounted for and available for processing and/or other departments as assigned. Processes and completes associated case cart documentation.
- Sterilizes all equipment ensuring the appropriate sterilization method is used and respective SOP followed. Operates Steam and EO sterilizers and accurately completes associated documentation.
- Participates in department continuous improvement initiatives, as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of work experience; Previous experience in a sterile processing environment or inspection role preferred
- CRCST Certification or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to work in a team environment to achieve goals and deliverables
- Able to use time, energy, resources, etc. to achieve goals
- Able to thoroughly and accurately accomplish task

- The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications including prior relevant experience. These positions start at a flat rate of $16.00/hour.
- Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant clinical experience.
- This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
