2025 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – P&L Engineering
The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!
The Production & Logistics Engineering internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a clinical engineering environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the engineering team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives. The Engineering project entails analyzing equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance optimization.

Project Details/Training
- You will collect and analyze equipment failure data, including failure modes, frequency, and downtime.
- You will identify common causes of equipment failure and potential areas for improvement.
- You will develop and implement a plan to optimize preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
- You will track and measure the effectiveness of the implemented changes.
- You must be actively pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering. Biomedical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering Preferred. Coursework in Core Engineering preferred. Engineering Statistics and Technical Writing background preferred.
- You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate pursuing a graduate degree.
- You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 2 – August 8), full-time, 40 hours/week.
